boydrw
The tedious job of importing then updating our existing clients' information / profile / domain names / pricing (much of it customized by client) / packages etc. is taking much longer than we anticipated. What I wanted to know is it ok to go live, and integrate WHMCS with our website so we can begin taking new orders even though all the billing info etc. is not completely set up for our existing clients? Thanks!
Troy
I wouldn't see why not. If you are manually migrating data--try to do it in the order in which invoices are coming due in your previous system and if you can stay on top of that you'll perhaps be able to continue migrating while using WHMCS for new orders, and not have to process payments in the old system even though you're not fully migrated yet.
boydrw
Thanks for the reply! we imported the clients from WHM so they exist in WHMCS already however they don't have amounts or invoice dates in them, that we have to set up manually for each client. Still think we can proceed?
