jacksonhole
I see a place for NS1 and NS2 to be stored (in the database) with the hosting package details on an order.. but they're all BLANK.. and thus, so are the nameserver fields in the new account (cPanel) emails. This has occurred with both manually migrated accounts and a new one (that WHMCS had successfully created on the server) Also, if you can enter up to 4 name servers in both server details and domain registrar options; why is there only a place to store 2 in the database, and the default emails are only setup for two?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 11, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 11, 2007 Hi Jackson, The fields you are looking at are for dedicated server products only. They aren't used to populate the welcome emails so being blank is correct and your assumption about there only being 2 fields is incorrect. The default welcome email lists 2 nameservers as most hosts only use 2 nameservers. If you use more, you can add them. jacksonhole
OK. then do you know why the name servers are ending up blank in the new account emails? Note that at the time I had (and still have) 4 name servers defined in server details; but the email template only had 2 (but those were blank). Have not tried yet since adding [Nameserver3] and [Nameserver4] to the email template.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 19, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 19, 2007 Can't reproduce the issue. Make sure you've updated your includes/functions.php file for V3.4 Matt

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 27, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 27, 2007 Like I said above, reupload the functions.php file to the includes folder - that should fix it - redownload the zip file from our site if you need to.
