Cancelled Invoices

Recommended Posts

I already added a ticket for this..

But since it can't be a bug until someone else comes forward-- I am wondering..

Has anyone else had issues with invoices becoming cancelled?

This morning I was in the billing system -- actually upgraded it -- went well :)

Of course I always noticed the unpaid section. Everything was fine there--well there were unpaid invoices.

Here is what I did this morning:

Had to cancel a test hypervm that I put under my account -- did that and it deleted my vps - as it should.

Modified a domain.

Accepted some domain orders.

Cancelled an invoice -- one invoice via the clients area-- and not via the unpaid invoice listing.

Sent mass email about an acquisition

(not all in this order)

I then went to do other stuff out side of whmcs and out side of IE.. I come back - refresh my screen -- and missing all my unpaid invoices.

Come to find out -- all of them changed statuses to cancelled.

Well not sure if it was anything I did or not.

NOTE: I am the only one that has been in my biling system - except for a support person.

So.. wondering anyone else have this issue?

Thank you,

Adam

Hi

Just had exactly the same thing happen to me!

Did the upgrade then made a test order and then deleted the client etc

Went to my home screen and all my pending invoices were gone - upon investigation they were all marked as cancelled.

I have marked them as unpaid again but this needs looking into

Cheers

I have just tried what I thought was the same thing again but it has not done it this time.

However I am not sure if I followed the exact deleteions and cancellations in the correct order as the first time.

obviously if I thought this was going to happen I would have remembered what I had done!

Will have to wait for the next person who experiences this to get steps

A couple of things I've ruled out - it doesn't happen during the upgrade, it doesn't happen when cancelling a single invoice, and it doesn't happen when mass cancelling invoices - so not sure what it could be.

Are you sure it's not just invoices that were previously set to the PayPal Invoices gateway that doesn't exist in 3.4 any longer? Now there's just a single combined "PayPal" module and if you didn't have PayPal Subscriptions active before the upgrade you need to activate the new module.

What about when you delete a client without deleting the invoice first? or maybe if you have cancelled the invoice and then delete the client?

Just to save me adding another account and having to print the cancelled invoice out for records could you try that on your test system please if you think that could be worth investigating

Thanks

No it was a mixture of Paypal and Google Checkout and Cheque/Postal Order

OK, Matt.

100% this is what happened.

- The invoices were normal.

- I got 2 orders for free accounts from the same client.

- I canceled both orders.

- All the unpaid invoices were set to "Canceled".

That's it. This really needs to be fixed...

Edit: Also, after canceling the orders, it did not terminate the accounts that were created like it used to.
