vdjames
Hi All, I am trying to get an idea what you might pay for your UK domain names and then sell them on for to the end customers and who you use be it right from Nominet or someone like OpenSRS ? Alex - Arvixe
Not 100% sure what you're asking here but I'll give it a go. At Nominet you will pay £3.50 per domain per year as a full member (£4.20 inc VAT). OpenSRS will charge you $8 (£5.33 at todays rate) per domain per year. The above prices are based on 1 years registration and can drop if you buy over longer periods. Becoming a Nominet member has additional benefits other than cheaper pricing. You're in full control of the domain so if you need to change a domain to another registrar, you can do that easily. Through a registrar you might have to request it and they can optionally charge you a fee if they want to. Another benefit is you get your own TAG. So when you have your clients update their domains tag to yours, you won't be giving them "OPENSRS" as the tag but "YOUR-COMPANY".
