WHMCS with Media Temple Managed VPS

I have been considering using MediaTemple's Managed VPS service and was wondering if it's possible to install WHMCS.

 

I have discussed the issue with Sales Support and have been told that it's not possible unless I'm using the Developer VPS service. However I've seen another post from MediaTemple on Twitter saying it is possible.

 

I really want to use WHMCS and want to make sure I am able to before signing up for MediaTemple's Managed VPS service.

 

If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

WHMCS doesn't require anything specific beyond your standard Web based software. If MediaTemple allows for PHP, and MySQL you shouldn't run into any issues. I would recommend reviewing our System Requirements to confirm that the finer PHP details are available (Curl, CurlSSL, GD, JSON).

Not sure why it wouldn't work. It is a VPS so you should be able to install what you need and meet all of WHMCS requirements.
