Fatal error: Allowed memory size - Internal API inside large loops

I have a script that loop through products 'tblhosting' table (over 18000 entries) and call Internal API 'updateclientproduct' to update the amount of each entry.

 

Using 256M memory_limit I am getting 'Fatal error: Allowed memory size' after about 3200 entries parsed.

 

Is there a way to lower memory consumption or clear memory when calling Internal API function?
