J
Low priority, but I would like to see it changed to allow forcing SSL over WHMCS. Though its not really a whmcs bug, it should still work. A solution could be provided as many other sites have adjusted headers to allow IE downloads over SSL... IE may not be the best browser, but its the most commonly used; I have no interest in the browser debate and must support whatever clients use. Problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323308 Solution: Download uses different headers or redirects to page using different headers to allow cache, but still requiring active login session. Thanks.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 30, 2007 That article explains how to fix the issue by editing the registry. Expecting clients to do that is not possible which is why WHMCS is built in to switch from SSL to non-SSL for the downloads. Matt
J
You seem to be missing the point. I do not expect clients to edit the registry, I expect you to make it so they do not have to. As I stated before, I would like to force SSL over the entire WHMCS, but I cannot because the downloads don't work.
