chisel
Hi, I am currently running version 3.1.2 of WHMCS. I want to upgrade to the latest version. However I can only see the 3.3.0 and 3.2.3 in the client area. Does this mean I will need to do a fresh install? Do I download the "Full version".. will there be an option to use my existing database? Also I have made customizations to the client area.. can I keep the same client area? Cheers, dan
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 26, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 26, 2007 Hi Dan, You need to download the latest 3.3.0 full version and you do then get an upgrade option. Just follow the steps in the readme for upgrading. Any template customisations will most likely need to be lost if you haven't updated since 3.1.2 as there's quite a few changes since then so for you to go through and merge the changes would be a massive job. chisel
I thought that might have been the case. Thanks for the quick response!
