mtylerb
Does WHMCS not yet support PHP 5.5? I saw posts from back in December, but didn't see that until I'd already done the upgrade. So either we have to maintain old technologies and have a billing system or sacrifice the billing system (that we pay for) to keep up with new technologies? A little bit frustrating, to say the least. Is there a temporary work around or does WHMCS intend on supporting 5.5 in the near future?
coghost
Same question - Ioncube now supports 5.5, and the docs here say WHMCS is not updated because Ioncube does not support it. That is no longer true. When can we expect WHMCS to be updated to support PHP 5.5? http://docs.whmcs.com/System_Requirements The only work around I have found mtylerb is to setup CloudLinux and use PHP 5.4. Sure wish I did not have to go to all that effort though, but it does work...
mtylerb
I had to downgrade to 5.4. I'm guessing nobody is interested in answering this? I agree wholeheartedly with your post, coghost.
vladka24
Well, it doesn't work on 5.5 it's usally a blank screen or Ioncube telling that Ioncube 5.5 is not compatiable with the embeded version inside whmcs. Thus it only works on 5.4 for me, I down graded to 5.4 and it works!
WHMCS Ryan
Hello mtylerb, Please see this thread here for more information about the pending support of php 5.5. --Thanks
mtylerb
There is no clear answer in that thread. There is a tweet that says next release, but are we talking 5.3.9 or 5.4.0 or 6.0.0? "Release" could mean a lot of things.
