Dynamics CRM 2013 Integration

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I wondered if anyone had successfully integrated WHMCS with Dynamics CRM 2013? We are part way through our own integration and wanted to see how other people had done it to see if there is a more effective way of doing it.

At the moment we have a basic console application which sits on our CRM server. We then use WHMCS hooks to speak to this console application and that then writes to CRM using XRM service endpoints. The reason we did it this way rather than directly from the hook was that it was far easier for us to code in .Net for the CRM side of things. Writing back to WHMCS we then just call the API from some custom CRM plugins on various entities.

We only want to keep WHMCS for the billing and order features and move all of the support and sales to CRM as it handles it far better for multiple users than WHMCS. Sales is already fully on CRM as it doesn't need any integration with WHMCS but the support side of things we only want people to have a single login so we are keeping them on WHMCS and making calls back and forth to transfer data.
