Setting due date one month prior to expiry date

Recommended Posts

I want to set the due date for all my domain names to one month prior to the expiry date.

For instance, a domain that expires on May 1st should be due on April 1st.

I'm making a script to automatically set the new due date, but I'm wondering if this would cause any unforseen problems, such as WHMCS cancelling the domain with Enom when the due date is passed?

I think WHMCS will not cancel the Domain on Enom based on the due date.

As per my knowledge they will not send any Cancel/Suspension request to registrar; since they will only update the Status of Domain based on the Expiry date. You can manage Expiry date accurately by using DomainSync Cron job available in your WHMCS System. Please refer this : http://docs.whmcs.com/Domains_Tab#Domain_Sync_Enabled
