Terms of Service links?

Hello Garry

It would be possible to do this but it would require modifying the TPL files, as you can only specify 1 Terms of Service (ToS) URL in the WHMCS Admin panel.

Do you mean that you want to have a different ToS URL on the checkout page, depending on which product(s) the client is buying?

Hi,

I just need to know, as I was designing my site, and going to be getting WHMCS soon.

I am selling 3 services/products, each have there own terms, but I have now, made one page linking to each set of terms.

I have looked in the demo, so I have designed it to have 1 page with access to all 3 terms.

Hi Garry

WHMCS is pretty flexible with regards to this sort of thing, but it would require extra modification of the cart template files as it's not possible to do so via the Admin panel 'out of the box'.

So if you wanted to have different ToS links for different products, it's certainly achievable but would require some extra modification.

Rather than making hard science out of it.. what we do is simply place a call to action within every separate product that has different conditions. These links are directed to an anchor within one ToS. Helps simplify and also maintains a more clear expression of all products. Consider having one ToS with various products terms a form of "upsell" (potentially). Anywhere you have the chance to broadcast all of your items.. the better.

Unless there is some wild reasoning for completely alienating your products and their conditions.. this is very good practice.
