pat_ads
Hi all, Version 5.2.16 - I have Prorata billing checked with "0" in both date boxes - and Anniversary billing selected. We offer a free product, which suspends after 14 days and terminates after 30. It's software that utilized the WHMCS licensing addon. There is an upgrade to a paid product available. When a customer upgrades from the free product to the paid version, they are charged 1 full month. This is expected as they have no other paid services so the anniversary date used is the day they upgraded. But, once the product suspends/terminates, they cannot upgrade - so they must make a direct purchase. This is acceptable to us. When they do so, the signup date for the client (they day they ordered the FREE product) is used to calculate prorata - even though the customer has no other active or paid products on their record. Shouldnt the anniversary prorata be calculated on the date that PAID products are being invoiced and not just the date of the account signup? Any help would be appreciated.
