rd-webhosting
I just imported from Cpanel WHM into my new installation of WHMCS. The client name comes up as the login name and Owner. 2 questions: 1. Can this be changed to the actual names without issue? 2. Does WHMCS maintain the website admin name, and if so where? Thanks
Sliffer21
1. Yes, it just creates a client account and links it to that cPanel/WHM account, you can update the client details without any issues and you can also move the service from one user to another user account (For example if one user has 2 separate cPanel accounts WHMCS doesn't know that yet it makes each hosting account a separate user account.). Note: To combine 2 cpanel accounts via one WHMCS client: Go to one of the accounts WHMCS made with the user name, go to the "Products/Services" tab and there is "Move/Product Service" button. From there you can lookup the other client ID you wish to combine it with so that one client login has 2 separate services 2. The cPanel account is linked to a client via the "Product/Services" tab.
