krobertson
I am currently trying to set up WHMCS and love it so far, but having one issue I haven't been able to resolve. For all of the emails it is sending out to my customers, it includes the from name, but not the from address. From the message: From: Digistic <>Reply-to: Digistic <noreply@digistic.net> The noreply@digistic.net is set on the General Settings page and shows up as it should. However, the from email address isn't showing, and it clearly set on the email template. Thanks, Ken
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 13, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 13, 2007 If using SMTP, the from address is the email address you enter in the username field. If you are not using any authentication for SMTP mail sending then this would be the result. Matt
krobertson
Thanks! This is a little counter intuitive, since it lets you specify the email address, but then doesn't tell you it is not going to use it. None the less, I changed it to the PHP Mail option and just configured the MTA to relay the messages to my main email server.
