Question

How do I setup WHMCS with SSL?

I will be ordering my SSL in the form of h t t p s://w w w.mydomain.com/

WHMCS is in h t t p://w w w.mydomain.com/clients/ right now.

Is this just a configuration change in WHMCS?

Does WHMCS automatically redirect to SSL or HTTP where needed?

What files need to be accessed in SSL and which do not?

Can I leave the files in the same location public_html/clients/ or do I have to move them to a specific location?

If I have to move them to a specific location, do I move all files to the new location or just the files that need to be accessed in SSL?

This is a cPanel 11 server. I need the SSL to be 100% setup properly with no browser warnings as I will be using CDGCommerce as a payment processor and will be storing credit card information locally.

Thanks!

Well, just as everything else in WHMCS it's really really hard!

...admin>General Configuration>WHMCS SSL System URL> "Enter your https url here" then click save and your done  8) Yes it redirects appropriately. Might want to loggin to your admin area via https though

Yeah, really.. it almost makes me miss my widgets!

Funny thing, for me WHMCS was difficult at first.. in a way.. I'd grown so used to everything that *should be* simple actually turning out to be entirely impossible, that when I first entered the WHMCS admin area I had a hard time believing what was right in front of me!!

"Nah.. can't be as simple as just entering a URL.. not without 5 other adjustments, 3 reinstalls, a 12-day support ticket battle, and an unnecessary move to a new server!!"

WHMCS has helped restore my faith in my common sense!
