Missterweb
I am working in my WHMCS on a public network for the next few weeks. Problem is that I keep getting kicked out every few minutes (I assume because my ip is constantly changing) is there something I can do about this?
WHMCS TedX
Yeah, you can invest in a cheap VPN solution. You should *NEVER* access your WHMCS (or any sensitive system where money flows, such as a bank, etc.) via a public network w/o going through a SSL'd SOCKS server, VPN, or secure proxy on a server you can trust. Doing otherwise is just begging to get ripped off and over by criminals. Do you know how frickin easy it is to do WLAN SSID spoofing? Well, it's very trivially easy, and that allows Man-In-The-Middle SSL attacks, keylogging, frame sniffing, the whole nine yards. Not even the most secure of web apps can withstand *that* with just basic usernames and passwords.
