ClientEdit hook - run first and then stop all functions after

Hi all,

 

I have a function that runs on the hook point ClientEdit. I want the function to run first before any other function, and then stop all subsequent functions that WHMCS carries out after it has run if the function returns true.

 

Basically, I've written a function that checks all post variables for specific SQL injection attempts. Using the hook, I'm able to check if an attempt has occurred however the rest of the WHMCS functions continue afterwards, which negates the whole point of checking for SQL Injection as I can't stop it (other than remove the key value).

 

I don't want to remove the key value, rather just not update the actual clients fields at all.

 

Is it possible?
