Euro symbol messed up after server move

Hello everyone,

 

I've just finished moving my billing software to a new server and at first it looked like everything was working fine. I added ssl support and the website is working great.

 

However, I realized last night that the EURO symbols show up as: €35.00EURO

instead of: €;

 

Is there anyone who knows what could cause this problem and knows a fix for it?

On the old server it was set to use System Charset Default: utf-8, and it still is.
