config options not displaying after patch in client area

It was just brought to my attention that in the client area, the product details page, the config options are no longer displaying after the recent patches. currently we are on 5.2.12.

 

does anyone else have this issue or is it just us?

 

you need to login as the client, go to the product details page. I am showing custom fields, but no config options.
