Support emails go to sales email address....where can I change this?

Hi all

 

I took over a webhosting and the Support emails go to sales email address....where can I change this?

 

I checked the support departments support email and that says support@

 

in general settings general tab the email address is sales@ and also email tab says sales@ for emails sent

 

Is there any where else the emails address is that I havent found?

Ive just realised the email I set my account up with was sales@ account and it was an administrator account which had ticks in all departments but this does not explain why no emails are going to support@ email ?

 

does anybody know why?

You mean when ticket is opened from your website , you don't get notification on support@ email ? The reason is, ticket notifications only go to email address configured in administrator accounts.

Ticket notifications are meant to notify you so they would only go to an administrators account, to notify the admin of the new ticket.

 

So which ever email your admin account is configured to is the email ticket notifications will go to only, if ticket notifications has been enabled.
