Choosing date from calendar box gives wrong date format

i have my date format set to 2007/09/01, when i try to change due date for a package using the calendar box it shows 09/01/2007 and when i save that it goes 0000/00/00.

 

using v 3.3.0

Thanks for the report. This has now been corrected for 3.4.
