I don't understand Add-on and Configureable Options

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have been trying to create it so my customers can get a dedicated IP on their Multicraft server, with checking a checkmark or a yes/no Configureable option on the buy page, I have seen lots of WHMCS sites do this, but I can't figure out how, there is lots of support on how to make these options, but none on how to actually make them do something.

Perhaps, in my product details page where I edit my product details, I see a checkmark from Multicraft named dedicated IP, I don't want to make a whole new product for that, so maybe a checkmark could enable that with Configureable options for me? So I can charge $1 extra for that.

Thanks in advance,

Configurable option name: multicraft configs

Add a new option:

Choose textbox: check

option name: IP Address and in the next box (press tab) enter the price

That's all there is too it this requires manual assignment.

Alternatively you can provide a dedicated IP Address as part of the package, you will need an IP Address pool set up in whmcs to automatically do it but you just check the box on the product to provide one.

Thanks, I will try that!
