E-mail account management module

Question

Hello folks,

I'm not currently a WHMCS user, but am looking seriously at purchasing a licence. One critical factor in my decision is the need to add some specific functionality that isn't available natively... Hence this request for someone to offer pricing to have a custom module written.

What I am looking to achieve, is a means to offer e-mail addresses for sale that are only an email account on a pre-existing domain without any new cPanel account or (sub)domain being created. I have a suite of geo domain names licenced, and want to offer "name@location.com" addresses using my domain names. I have experimented with some cPanel API calls, and it seems all the required functions are available.

I will need a module that can 1) Validate a requested e-mail account name against set criteria to determine the appropriate charging rate for it; 2) Check the availability of a proposed e-mail account name within the domain selected from a defined list of options; 3) Trigger the appropriate billing function through standard WHMCS systems; 4) Create the pop3 account in cPanel upon confirmation of payment; 5) Provide basic account management facilities (eg. reset / change email password, check space usage against quota, cancel subscription etc)

As I'm not already familiar with the specifics of WHMCS's operation, you may be able to advise more appropriate means for the overall system to achieve these capabilities. I'm open to suggestions...

Thanks in anticipation
