Boss
When registering .com.au domain names the labels are quite misleading and in general incorrect. Apart from this, I also can not change these label names (to at least suit me) because they are not being supplied from the English.txt file. Can you please do a little patch to fix this so I can straighten it out for myself and my clients? ----------------------- When in admin I can not place an order. It stops responding (just sits and thinks) after either trying to register a new domain or transfer one to the new plan. I'm sure this is as a result of last nights upgrade to 3.30. I have had a similar problem before but it was cured when do a file compare with a complete program package. This time I have done the same file compare and everything apart from minor changes in templates is identical. -------------------- Also I still can not display "Download PDF" to myself either from the Admin or the client side. I have tried this on 4 different computers 2 different browsers on each computer F/F and IE. I have totally disabled all firewalls, modem firewall included (apart from Windows and the modem firewalls I have no others). Tried to do the same on a dialup connection and a wireless connection. And each time with exactly the same result. So either there is something wrong with program or there is some other requirement needed on the server for this to work. I do have another osCommerce program (with an addon) on the same account that generates PDF's on the fly and it works fine. (I note my other post about this subject was locked for some reason, so could get back to Matt re this extra info, on that post).
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 28, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 28, 2007 Firstly, these aren't bug reports so I've moved this to Technical Issues. When registering .com.au domain names the labels are quite misleading and in general incorrect. Apart from this, I also can not change these label names (to at least suit me) because they are not being supplied from the English.txt file. Can you please do a little patch to fix this so I can straighten it out for myself and my clients? The names aren't misleading - they are what the fields are - but you can edit the labels in the file "includes/additionaldomainfields.php". Be aware that if you do this, no automated registrations will work with integrated registrars. When in admin I can not place an order. This is an issue to your specific install so it needs a ticket. Also I still can not display "Download PDF" to myself either from the Admin or the client side.I have tried this on 4 different computers 2 different browsers on each computer F/F and IE. I have totally disabled all firewalls, modem firewall included (apart from Windows and the modem firewalls I have no others). Tried to do the same on a dialup connection and a wireless connection. And each time with exactly the same result. Again, that's something on your install so needs a ticket. Do any downloads work? Matt
Boss
Before I submit a ticket. Re the Do any downloads work at all. What are you referring to? What other downloads are there? sorry for posting in wrong section didn't realise the difference I guess.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 28, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 28, 2007 You can add downloads in the downloads section and you can download ticket attachments. If none of them work, then it is that your server is blocking the file download headers. Matt
