Order not being updated as paid after payment has gone through :(

We have build a custom payment gateway for National Australia Bank on our WHMCS billing system. The payment for a particular order gets accepted and processed but the order doesn't becomes active automatically on receipt of payment.

 

When we go into Orders -> Pending Orders - it shows us two status as below:-

Payment Status - Pending

Status - Active

 

What needs to be done so the Payment Status shows as active after the payment has been processed and accepted.

 

I have mentioned all details properly in the call back template also.

 

Please help as we have been struggling with this issue for a long time
