kyle123
How do I install WHMCS on a wordpress site? I follow the directions but when I get to the install step, I have to go to my website /http://domain.com/whmcs/install/install.php and I am unable to view the proper screen- instead I see my Wordpress theme interfering with my ability to install WHMCS. To be clear I do not need to "customize my whmcs panel to look pretty like wordpress" or anything like that- I don't care what it looks like. I just want it installed on my site and working. Is this possible on my current site? Do I need a specific plugin or is there a way to do it without it? Will thank for answers Kyle
kyle123
To clarify, what I see when I visit the install page is my wordpress theme, and then in the content where the posts go it says "error 404, page not found).
MemoryX2
Yes, it's possible I am running almost the exact same set up on my site. Because of the url rewriting, you just to type out the link exactly. Ex. http://www.domain.com/whmcs/install/install.php If you do not type in both the http and www then wordpress will pick up the link and give you the 404 error. Hope this helps MemoryX2
kyle123
Thanks for the help. I typed it out and tried it in Chrome, FireFox, and IE and it still displays the WP page. More info: the site is an addon domain in my hosting accout. I installed the folder in publichtml/mysite.com/whmcs . Any other thoughts?
