harrip
Hi There Since performing the recent security update some, not all, replies to support tickets show as blank in the support ticket screen and the emails going to clients are also blank. I wondered if anyone else was getting this, and better still, if a solution was available? Thank you!

Alex - Arvixe
If 5.2.2 probably best to create a ticket and have them troubleshoot it for you.

harrip
I'm presently on version 5.1.4. Waiting for a bit more stability to arise before upgrading further. Will be raising this as a support ticket now.
harrip
I upgraded to the latest release of WHMCS in the hope that this issue might fix itself. Sadly it did not. However, By some experimenting, I've found a way to replicate the issue which may help others suffering from this. If I enter a support ticket reply without a pound sign (£), it works. If I send the reply with the pound sign (£) it goes out blank. The same happens with support ticket 'Notes'. There are possibly other characters breaking the tickets, but I'm yet to find them. I've shared this information in a support ticket to whmcs but am still awaiting a fix. Given this has been happening since mid March, I hope it soon arrives.

harrip
Finally solved by changing Setup > General Settings > Localisation > System Charset to "utf-8".
