PayPal with already existing credit.

Just starting out and had a question.

 

I have a client that has a credit of say $10 on his account. He signed up for hosting for $4.95 I understand it will take the payment from credit first but it didn't have him go to PayPal will that happen on the invoice once the credit runs out?

 

Is there a better way of doing what I already did for the future.

If you have the credit system to automatically take funds from credit then that is why he wasn't redirected to PayPal, simply because he didn't need to be taken to PayPal as the funds would have paid off the invoice (so he has nothing to pay via PayPal).

 

Once his credit runs out then yes, he will be prompted to pay via PayPal / other gateways you have enabled.

Thanks! I figured that's what it was. I thought though it may do a trial $0 now then $xx when it expires but I guess the odd credit amount may not of made it work anyways.
