HostingAway.com
Hello, I have changing the webhost for my whcms,i make backups for the whcms and database, and i move all content to the new host. Now i get this errror : Critical Error Could not connect to the database. The user and permissions are ok,also the database ,i mean the connection in ,configuration.php . How can i fix it ?Last time when i changed the webhost i fixed this error by reinstall the whcms, but now i dont want to reinstall it,because everything is configured ,the packages and all settings. Thanks in advance.
ckh
Is the user assigned to the database? I find this is a common missed step.
Alex - Arvixe
When you move to a new host the database prefix would usually change (depending on CP). Did you correct these? Did you correct the database host setting option?

Pradeep Sanjeewa
I have the same issue as mentioned in the initial question. @Alex - Arvixe : What did you mean by "database prefix "?
