3 domains 1 WHMCS license?

Jxff

Question

Hello,

I have three reseller accounts with similar domain names.

mydomain.com

mydomain.nl

mydomain.net

Can I setup WHMCS under mydomain.net and point all orders and support from mydomain.com and mydomain.nl to mydomain.net?

Thanks! Jxff

Hey,

From what I understand you want, yes you can.

Each package is given a unique order link so linking to packages from other websites is fine. You can also input an extension to the link to show a different design template (if your other reseller accounts have different website designs):

http://whmcs.url/index.php?systpl=templatename

You can do quite a lot more also (currency, design, promo codes etc...) Take a look at the article: http://docs.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS

Thanks for the links and suggestions, still looking for someone who has done it and what the pros and cons were.

I have come across companies who have done this before though sadly none of their names come to mind :(. Will update you if I find another one.

I could list a couple pros and cons though:

Pros:

1. Cheaper :) - You can pay for only 1 license vs 3 licenses

2. Everything in one place - You don't have to go to 3 separate admin areas to handle 3 different companies, you can just do it all in one place (Support tickets etc...)

Cons:

1. Less organized - All companies are basically become one in terms of clients, billing, support etc...

2. Selling - If you want to sell 1 - 2 of your 3 brands then this would obviously become a lot harder with all 3 brands in one WHMCS install (You will be required export all the relevant data, re-import in another install etc... and it all becomes a hassle)

Let us know if you go ahead with this type of setup and how it works for you? Could help others also.
