validatelogin local api

If i have the validatelogin local api in a seperate php file which is inside whmcs folder,

it is not executed.

 

i have my php as follows,

require("dbconnect.php");

require("includes/functions.php");

$command = "validatelogin";

$adminuser = "admin";

$values["email"] = $_GET["xxx"];

$values["password2"] = $_GET["yyy"];

 

$results = localAPI($command,$values,$adminuser);

?>

 

The above code returns nothing in $results.

Please help in using the localAPI function.
