WHMCS / Enom and .UK names

I am sure this has been asked before, but I can't locate it anywhere so I'll ask here.

Does Enom / WHMCS have a restriction on updating non-essential domain information?

When trying to do this through the WHMCS client interface a user gets an error returned '

"registered_for:Not Specified:Required value not specified"

Note: There is no change to the 'Registered for' field allowed - this has to be done through Nominet.

I am simply concerned that changing something like a house number or contact email is causing an error.

Is this an Enom thing or a WHMCS thing (or both).

Thanks, - that seems to have done the trick!

All the names in question had the Registrant and/or the Legal Type missing.

Having corrected a few and tested them in WHMCS I can see it now all works.

In relation to how this came about, they are not names that have been transferred in using the 'normal' process.

We inherited them from a domain registration company that had failed and Nominet appointed us to take them over. T

his was a few years ago and as the problem comes to light very rarely we simply updated them manually.

However, thanks to your tip we can now strike one more job off the list!
