glow
Hi I am using whmcs 4.5.2 and I wanted to upgrade to whmcs 5.12 so prior to upgrading the actual site I created a copy of the original site along with a copy of the database and so that the copy site would work on the same domain I renamed the "public_html" folder of the original site and had the copy site now on the working public_html folder, so anyways I did the upgrade of whmcs 5.12 on the copy site and all went well and so I deleted the copy site to conduct the upgrade now the original site and now the original site which was working without a hitch is giving me this message: Down for Maintenance An upgrade is currently in progress... Please come back soon... and it wont let me access the admin page, any thoughts as to what may have happened I didn't do any changes to the original site or its database all the changes made were made to the copy site and on a different directory and database. any help would e appreciate it. thank you I get my whmcs copy from wiredtree hosting is part of their hosting package glow

Bubka3
You don't need to understand it to fix it. Just reupload all the files. If that doesn't fix it run the upgrader.
glow
ok I fixed the issue by reinstalling the database of the original installation which is great but what i really want to do is upgrade to the latest version, so I ran the upgrade again over my old files and everything looked good at first after upgrade but now I get nothing but a blank page for both the main site and the admin page any idea why this is happening? thank you
glow
ok I figured it out by enabling error message display and I found the php file creating the problem.
