captainhost
Yes - I know iFrames are not looked up too happy anymore in the web development community, but with the proper use, they can look pretty good. (This site is using iFrames to enclose WHMCS). This is a Work in Progress, I am workng on matching the background to make the iFrame less apparent, but feel it is good enough so far. This is a temporary placement until I can finish modifying a template for WHMCS. I have active hosting customers so need to have at least something there for them. Main Site: http://www.captainhost.net Integrated Client Area: http://www.captainhost.net/customer.html Integrated Shopping Cart: http://www.captainhost.net/setsail.html I removed the WHCMS logo, and some menu links to fit the site better.
DavidBee
Sorry but any content within the iframe does not load for me. This web page is not available The web page at https://www.captainhost.net/marina/clientarea.php might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 501 (net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE): Unknown error.
captainhost
Odd - just tried it and it loaded fine on my end, just tested in IE 10 (I never use that software), Firefox, Opera and Chrome (all latest versions). Interesting on that error code. I did hit this on Microsoft's site looking for an explanation: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811262 Not sure if you are on XP, Vista, 7, 8, Mac OSX or whatever, so this may not apply to you. I am extremely curious now on solving this issue. Anyone else getting this issue?

entangled
I am getting This Connection is Untrusted: http://www.captainhost.net uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) for your WHMCS in a iFrame. Also by getting this error in an iFrame, I am not able to go it the page ... at least, when outside an iFrame, I am given an option to Add an Exception and go into the page or not. And I do believe iFrames are a "no-no" with the search engines too.
captainhost
I have switched out of Joomla now so thank you everyone for their information and looking at this. You can see the new look at the same link. No more iFrames!!!
