thoraxe
It appears that a user must register to be able to put in support tickets. This is really undesireable for fielding pre-sales questions from potential customers. Ticketing systems like OSTicket don't require any kind of registration (and this is the ticketing system we're currently using pre-WHMCS). Is it possible to configure WHMCS to allow for support tickets to come from un-registered users? I found the checkbox to allow people to register without a purchase, but the registration to put in a "Does your product do XYZ?" ticket is a real downer. thoraxe
Ah - it appears that I've found it in the actual department options. Creating an un-hidden department does not open the "support" menu in the navigation bar, but that's not the end of the world. I can work around that.
WHMCS JamesX
Anybody (registered or not) can open a ticket with a specific department if its options are set such that "Clients Only" is not checked.
