floyd
In the admin section you suspend a client that is on a DirectAdmin server. The client can then go to his WHMCS account and view the hosting details and change his DirectAdmin password and now he is suddenly unsuspended. In the Admin section under that clients's Products/Services it still says his Status is Suspended. So 2 things here. One is a suggestion and the other is an absolute requirement. The requirement is to fix the bug that allows a client to unsuspend himself. This may be partially due to the DirectAdmin API. However you can work around this by first checking the status of the client and then change the password and then check the status again to make sure it is the same. The suggestion is to display the true status of a client as is determined by polling the remote server.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 15, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 15, 2007 If this really is the case - which I'm not sure as I haven't tested - then you'll need to contact the DirectAdmin people about it as it's certainly a bug if changing a password unsuspends an account but it's not the fault of WHMCS.
