keneso
Hi. Over here: http://docs.whmcs.com/Installing_WHMCS#Installing_WHMCS I read 3 - Upload the entire whmcs folder to your website - if you experience problems, try uploading in binary mode 4 - Next you can rename the folder to whatever you like (billing, clients, etc...) Can I install directly in root /public_html? I know it sounds silly, but after few problems with former host, and the WHMCS being hacked, they (former host) kept saying you can't install in root, and it has to be installed on a sub-directory. I would like to install it in root, but want to make sure it's ok. Thank you

DavidBee
Hi, You may install your WHMCS installation on any directory you like. This includes public_html.
