When an account has a primary and secondary contact both with the same email address, the invoice will show the address associated with the secondary email address but the VAT will be based on the primary. This can lead to odd invoices.

 

Case Study:

 

Client A with address in the UK email@example.com

Contact B with address in USA email@example.com

Invoice shows US address with UK VAT

 

To avoid, the invoice should always show the primary contact for an account.
