garnax
I would like to see the port in the welcome email sent by whmcs billing system for scpanel client signup. The [port] code does not give the port but simply the sub domain writing earlyer by the customer. The problem with is: when you create a sub domain during the automatic creation on WHMcs, the sub domain becomes the [domain] (ex: myradio.domainname.com) and the contents of scpanel is installed only in the domain (Port.domain.com). I would like to write in the whmcs welcome email [port].streamspro.com (like 8000.domain.com) Because the client don't have this instruction for login. Note: In WHMcs email template The code [Port] does not give the port but the name written in the subdomain ( a virgin page) Did anyone have an idea what can i put on the [] to have the server port?
SageStone
Hello, If the port is static and does not change, you could just manually enter in the port number without brackets. Thanks, David

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 8, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 8, 2007 Not sure why this is in feature requests so I'm moving it but you can include custom fields in the email templates. Looking in the merge fields window for the syntax when editing the template. Matt
garnax
The reason I'M asking it.. Because in the merge field they is no bracket which can give me the port number for every new account.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 8, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 8, 2007 Port is a custom field is it not? So you need to use [ProductCustom-Port] as the merge fields list instructs you to. Matt
garnax
thank you very well Matt. Maybe i'm too tired But my problem is still unsolve. I use the [ProductCustom-Port] like you said, The port don't get out. When i use [ProductCustom-Port].domain.com in the client email, the link get back to me. I just want my port.domain.com (8000.domain.com) shown in my client welcome email. I'm very new to that kind of billing system. Can i have an exemple please? If Someone had already configure his billing system and want to help reply to me please. Thank you Garnax
