generic
I had added "Autocad" to my spam filter in both subject and phrases I just had an email come thru subject: AUTOCAD 2008 ONLY $129 i dont understand why it was not blocked. Is Autocad and AUTOCAD two different strings for WHMCS' spam filter? Is the system case sensative.. ------ so far love the spam filter, i am adding new words as spam gets thru. I will add to this list as mine grows. here is mine so far. 100mg 50mg Autocad AUTOCAD Creative Suite cs3 cum Girth pills Viagra Vitamin Penis Watches
MACscr
maybe im weird, but i block spam with my spam filter for my mail server, not with my billing system. =P
generic
No thats one way of doing it, but my business model cant do that. I dont use server wide spam filters on my server because my clients dont want them as their web sites are their business sites and they dont want to take the chance to lose emails or leads. They all filter individually and i subscribe to 2 of the major black list filters which handles about 90% of the spam without killing legitimate emails. ....bu...back to my question... is it case sensative...if not does the system need fine tuning?
