bebop1065
Hello all, Whenever I attempt to add a new announcement to my site, the page refreshes after I check "Published?" and "Save Article" but the announcement never appears. I've tried toggling the editor with no change. I can't post even a "test" message. I've tried it with FF 2.0 and IE 6. Any ideas? I CAN create KB articles. bebop1065
'announcements.xml' is currently 644. I tried changing it to 666 and I was still unable to add an announcement.
bebop1065
Something must be happening. I deleted an announcement earlier today and the contents of announcements.xml include this line <lastBuildDate>Tue, 07 Aug 2007 12:22:44 EDT</lastBuildDate>
PPH
Are you running phpsuexec, If not you need to chmod the announcements.xml to 777 as per the readme file

bebop1065
At this point, I am only trying to input a 'test' message with 'test' as a subject. It says the function is undefined.
PPH
drop Matt a support ticket. I am sure he can spot the problem quickly. Might want to reupload the supportannouncements.php file in binary mode just to be sure.

bebop1065
It must have been a corrupted file. I upgraded to 3.2.3 last night and all is right again. --closeable--
