Customisation + Licensing Questions

Hi all,

 

I'm new to the forums so apologies if this is linked somewhere already, I have searched but cant seem to find anything in great detail that points me in the right direction I need.

 

I know that WHMCS is ioncube encoded so nothing can be added directly to it, but is there documentation for anything like a REST API, and is what I would like to do allowed within the licensing of WHMCS?

 

WHMCS already has an affiliate system in place, i'd like to extend this if possible to allow whitelabel affiliates or resellers.

 

I also would like to integrate some phone features in WHMCS like auto tickets from calls etc. I have the API's to do the phone side already.

 

So to sum up this is a bit of a noob to WHMCS post asking for details on documentation for extending WHMCS and what is allowed within the licensing.
