Plesk 7.6 for windows

I would like to know if WHMC is compatible with Plesk 7.6 for windows Platform ?

 

Please check it with developers.

 

I am asking that because Plesk 7.6 for windows support

Plesk API RPC protocol version = 1.4.1.1

 

But Plesk 8.1 for windows support

Plesk API RPC protocol version = 1.4.2.0

so what I am saying , As it seems to me , WHMC is only compatible with one version of Plesk API.

This what create Plesk Module that is supporting only one version.

 

WHMC Developers need to read this thread and create several Plesk Modules which everyone support one version of Plesk API.

Otherwise , if WHMC developers will continue in this attitude then in the future there are going to be alot's of problem.

because WHMC can't say to us that we must use specific Plesk version.

If WHMC will continue in this way , then WHWC will only support the latest version of plesk and not previously versions of Plesk.

What's made you think this? Whatever it is, it's wrong. WHMCS works with any Plesk version that has API version 1.4.1.0 or later.

If WHMC is also making advanced properties configuration on the hosting server then What I wrote is true.

 

Because if you will try to send XML command with property that only exist for example on Plesk 8.1 and not in Plesk 7.6 , then the issue which I have described will arise.

 

try to send XML command which is not supported on Plesk 7.6 but does sopported on Plesk 8.1

And see what happend

 

and by the way , when you wrote any Plesk version with API version 1.4.1.0 , this means not every Plesk Version , this means only Plesk 7.6 for Windows or higher.

offcourse at some point every software will stop supporting an earlier versions , you can't expect whmcs to support plesk 6 . it's like asking swsoft why they stopped supporting redhat 8 and 9 and who is developing software for windows 95? No one ,because its dead.

Plesk 7.5 and plesk 7.6 are not plesk 6 !!!

There are alot's of company who still using Plesk 7.5 and plesk 7.6 versions.

 

What I wrote above , It's suggestion for developers.
