Pending Orders

I just looked at my "Pending Orders" screen and it is two pages long. Apparently I've been using the system for some time now and never approving the pending orders -- although I've been using the system normally.

I tried deleting all the pending orders -- that was a mistake.

I'm afraid if I 'accept" the pending order, then something strange is going to happen -- like all my customers over the past years getting odd emails.

I guess, Ideally, I would like to just "Clear" this list.

How is it that I've been able to use the system normally never moving anything out of Pending. Maybe I've been "accepting" on the wrong screen (like on the product/services screen)

That is very normal and your clients won't get any emails.

See: http://docs.whmcs.com/Order_Management

Accepting Pending Orders

Whenever an order is placed in WHMCS, it comes in as a pending order. To view pending orders, go to Orders > List Pending Orders and click the Order ID. From there you can accept or deny the order.

Even if you have auto activation enabled, then while the products and services in that order may be automatically provisioned and delivered to the customer, the order status will remain pending until you manually confirm it. This is so that you can always see and review the new orders you've had and be able to manually review, check for fraud, problems, etc...
