Job queue ?

4uh

Question

Hi,

I've just been looking at the demo and I notice there is no "job queue"

If a new account / domain registration fails - how is the admin notified ? How can you re-run an errored job ?

Also, can you tell me if the system notifies the customers if their domain transfer fails ? Can they re-submit a failed transfer from in their account ?

You get email notification if an action has failed. All server and registrar functions can be re-run manually from the admin area at the click of a button if you require it. The account will still show as pending also in the accounts list if the setup fails so you'll know from that also.

It will not notify clients however if a transfer fails - it will be left pending for the admin to deal with.

Hi Matt, thanks for your reply.

The thing that attracts me to your product the most is its simplicity. Its very important for us to have a system that is laid out in a simple way and is easy for our customers to use.

I hope that you continue to keep this in mind when developing your product further. Other systems have become fragmented and over - complicated because the developers have tried to add too much functionality in an effort to be the product that provides the most features or they have added in certain things on the request of a customer that 99% of customers wouldnt actually want or need. I'm not saying dont listen to your customers but my advice is, always keep common sense and simplicity in mind. I think that you know this and its the factor that sets you aside from the other products.

I spent most of the day yesterday playing with the demo and I'm very excited about purchasing this product and moving our 10,000 customers over from our current system (AWBS).
