I see many people are getting this issue like us but WHMCS hasn't release an official patch for this yet.

This script will auto register the domain again if WHMCS returns "error obtain customer id" error.

 

Upload it into includes/hooks/

 

You'll continue receiving notification of "error obtain customer id" error, but the domain will be registered successfully.

 

Hope WHMCS can release an official patch asap.
