kien
Hi guys, Im awefully confused right now. I configured whmcs with no problem but now im in testing fase which is so frustating. I added opensrs as my registrar and i signed up for a reseller account. Now i ordered a webhosting package + domain name. Webhosting packaged is created fine in my WHM. Now for the domain i got a headache. I have 2 problems: 1. When i goto client > domains, I get an registrar error (authentication error) Strange because i added my ip allowed, i generated key in test environment and added to my whmcs registar opensrs config. 2. When i press register domain i get this: Request failed validation: Name server 'ns2.kartelhq.nl' is not found at the registry. Please double check the nameserver and re-submit. Name server 'ns1.kartelhq.nl' is not found at the registry. Please double check the nameserver and re-submit. - Now support said my nameservers most probably are not added to all registry's? Now im a noob at this, so can someone explain what registry's are? I registered my private nameservers and i can ping them. In the cpanel of my registar i cannot add my nameservers to multiple registry's. Can someone clarify this for me. That would mean alot to me. Thanks!
glipschitz
There is a Link in the OpenSRS console "Add Nameserver to All Foreign Registries" Click this and follow the bouncing ball. Make sure your Glue Records are correct and Nameservers are functioning properly too. Cheers, Greg
kien
Hi, Thanks for you reply. Opensrs test environmen does not seem to function very well. I added it all foreign registry's and it did work for their live environment (I dont get that error anymore). That authentication error is probably because the domain is still pending. I did not fund my account yet. Regards, Kien
