Serve mail/domain package to users

Hi,

 

Our company wants to sell products from our company website. The hosting-related products that we are selling will be a combination of a (or multiple) domain with a mail account.

 

It is not clear to me at this point how we can manage mail accounts. If I'm right, this is not something that WHMCS handles for you? Instead it seems like a `server` needs to be configured inWHMCS. What kind of server would we need to add to make this work?

 

I am guessing we could use cPanel for this purpose, but this product is priced very high and it seems like overkill for only serving mail.

mail is governed by your server and eg cpanel/plesk where you have a login to create mail accounts, only time whmcs is used is if theres an additional plugin to allow mailbox creation from within the client area

Still Plesk and cPanel seem overkill (= pricy) for only configuring mail. Then I guess the question would be what the best server module is given that is only used in this way for mail?
