GreenVine Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Hello, I setup SMTP email system for WHMCS and it can send email notification for Cron Jobs report, but it cannot send any other email notifications such as product email, ticket email. For hosting productions, I must manually click send Hosting Production Welcome Email or clients cannot be received. I want to know how to solve this, my SMTP system is working normally. webalternative Posted August 7, 2012 Share Posted August 7, 2012 Hi! do you have checked in your server for logs? first i will check in my mail server logs to see what happen with the e-mail... Did you get any error reply after sending the mail? And if your user is user@customer.com and customer.com exist on the server that whmcs is installed, the mail will go automaticly to this user@customer.com on YOUR server not to the old customer account elsewhere...so it will not receive the e-mail.... Like if you just have 1 server with whmcs + client account and the client want to have his website (that already exist elsewhere) to your services, and use user@customer.com and you have created customer.com on your server that case will apply. sorry for my bad english... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
